Early-stage investing places heavy emphasis on a strong founding team. We first look for ambitious teams that aren’t afraid to challenge conventional thinking.
After finding the right team, we then focus on great companies that:
- want more than just a check (we’re here to add value)
- are solving a real problem
- provide solutions that scale well in large markets
- offer a differentiated product or service with a strategy to maintain the differentiation
- are post-revenue with demonstrated growth
We prefer software to hardware, brilliant ideas that are a challenge to decent ideas that are easy, and smaller blue oceans to larger red ones. We’re not constrained by market sector or geography as long as other criteria are met.
